Title Deeds

The Title Register, also called Deeds, will include:

  • The title number
  • Find out who owns the property
  • How much the property last sold for
  • If the property has a mortgage
  • Details of any ‘restrictive covenants’
  • Details of any ‘easements’

Title Plans

The Title Plan includes the property’s location and boundaries

The title plan supports the description of the property in the register.

We use an extract from the Ordnance Survey (OS) map to give a visual indication of the registered land in red edging.

Common Questions

If you need just to confirm very basic information about a property or land, then we recommend ordering the Title Register (also known as The Deeds) and the Title Plan.

If you are unsure if there might be easements or covenants, we recommend ordering the full Conveyancing Pack

All documents we provide are official, and will be marked as so by HM Land Registry. Individuals are unable to obtain official copies online themselves

The official Title Register and the Title Map are £19.50 for each document.

If you purchase the Conveyancing Pack, this includes the above documents, and costs £70.00.

Please be aware that not all reports will apply to all properties. If they are available, the documents will include:

All documents available on the HM Land Registry site will be made available to you within 10 minutes of receiving your payment, as long as payment is received within working hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.
